Utilities

Traffic control for live utilities works

Water, power, gas and telecommunications works often mean urgent, short-notice access on live roads and footpaths, sometimes planned, sometimes a reactive repair. Our utilities traffic management is built to mobilise on short timeframes without cutting corners on compliance, so asset owners and their contractors can get safe access when they need it.

How we help

Keeping utilities projects safe and moving

We work with utilities providers and their contractors across water, power, gas and telecommunications, implementing Traffic Management Plans that account for the specific access, safety and reinstatement requirements of live-service works.

Because utilities works are often reactive, water main bursts, power faults, gas leaks, we prioritise reactive works behind our emergency response service and mobilise as quickly as scheduling allows.

From short single-lane closures for a service connection to full temporary traffic management on a major main replacement, our crews scale to the job and report on every shift with GPS-verified, audit-ready records asset owners and councils can rely on.

Can you respond to an urgent utility fault or burst main?

Yes. We respond to reactive utilities works, including burst mains, power faults and gas leaks, across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

We work with both. Whether you’re the asset owner (water, power, gas or telco) or the contractor delivering the works, we coordinate traffic management around your access and safety requirements.

For planned works we typically confirm crews within one business day of your enquiry. For reactive and emergency works, we mobilise as fast as the situation requires.

Yes, we scale from a single controller for a short service connection through to full crews for major mains replacement or upgrade projects.

We can implement your approved Traffic Management Plan, or coordinate plan preparation where required, in line with MUTCD QLD, the TMR Code of Practice and AS 1742.

We operate across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, as well as Northern New South Wales.
